Public Relations Events
Took part in ‘E-Campaign in a Day’ events in November 2017 and 2018. Which involved working within a team to form and implement a digital campaign within the hours of 10am – 4pm. Then presented our outcomes to other participants afterwards.
Attended ‘Meet the Professionals’ networking events in February 2018 and 2019. Heard guest lectures from industry professionals before networking in a speed dating style with those in the industry. These increase my interpersonal skills each year as well as my confidence.
Participated in ‘Crisis Simulation’ events in March 2018 and 2019. In groups, we prevented a theoretical crisis from escalating through creating content on social media and other digital channels. We worked as a team and presented our methods and findings at the end of the day. Click here to see a video made by the University all about this day.
